As of the May 8, 2024 Negotiations session, the TAAAC bargaining has declared impasse at the table. This means we're unwilling to accept the deal put on the table by AACPS to increase our health insurance costs without the promise of better wages or working conditions. Your FY23-24 Contract

As we head back to the bargaining table to negotiate our FY25 contract this October, make sure you know what was changed in our last contract! The negotiated agreement includes the following improvements in the four areas of the contract that were reopened (please see previous “At the Table Updates” for details for what a “partial reopener” is): compensation, coverage pay, unpaid leave, and insurance. In addition, we signed updated Memorandums of Understanding to support educators impacted by shortages.
