- The George Washington University: The George Washington University’s Educational Leadership & Administration (ELA) program is interviewing and admitting students to begin in Summer and Fall 2026! GW offers three accelerated and fully online graduate programs that prepare Pre K-12 educators for leadership roles. The programs include courses and internship experiences designed to meet the academic requirements for administrative certification/licensure in the District of Columbia (DC). In addition, students outside of DC can apply for licensure in other states through reciprocity. If you possess Pre K-12 teaching experience and are accepted into a GW graduate program that supports administrative licensure, you may qualify for GW’s PreK-12 Educator Scholarship, which saves 30% off your tuition. - Goucher College: An Exciting New Opportunity from Goucher College: Goucher College, in partnership with Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS), is proud to offer the Teacher Quality and Diversity Program Grant, an initiative that answers Governor Moore’s call to support career changers and conditional teachers by providing an accelerated pathway to initial licensure and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT). Participants can complete all requirements for full licensure and earn their master’s degree in just 5–6 semesters while benefiting from significantly reduced out-of-pocket costs. The program also covers the first attempt at all required Praxis exams and the edTPA and provides comprehensive, ongoing support from Goucher faculty, advisors, and AACPS mentors—making it an accessible, supportive, and affordable path to earning your teaching license and master’s degree.
