In the current interpretation of the Blueprint, only certain educators are eligible for wage enhancements. Only some educators can receive stipends if they work in a “low-performing” school. Only some educators will have the opportunity to move up the career ladder. This is not equitable.
To ensure equitable implementation, TAAAC members urge the AACPS Board of Education to close the loopholes within the Blueprint, to provide and maintain adequate recognition of our contributions to our education system.
