Start with your building rep!
If you are a TAAAC member and have questions about your rights, your first step is to talk to your Building Representative (BR) with your questions and concerns. Your BR will work with you determine whether it is appropriate to initiate the grievance process. Working with your BR is a crucial component of strengthening union capacity at your school. It is possible that other members at the site may be experiencing problems similar to yours, and your BR is the best person to identify these patterns and get TAAAC staff involved if necessary. If you are not sure who your BR is, call the TAAAC office at 410-224-3330.
