4 Ways to Organize with TAAAC This Summer

Get paid to organize with TAAAC this summer! Members receive training and take action to accomplish three primary goals: Support recruitment of new members Plan leadership development opportunities for new and returning members Receive weekly training to improve your organizing skills! The summer program will run from July 7 through August 8, and will include opportunities throughout the week (for those not participating in summer school), evening activities, plus full Friday actions and training. Throughout the school year, you will be asked to meet 1-2 times per month to plan member trainings or organize actions. There may be opportunities during the school year when we ask you to take union leave to support efforts such as negotiations, school board elections, and member recruitment. The grant(s) funding this program budget $30 per hour for each organizer position.
