TAAAC endorsed BOE candidate in District 4

Following the recommendation of the Government Relations Committee, TAAAC members at the September Representative Assembly voted to endorse Sarah McDermott.

The Teachers Association of Anne Arundel County (TAAAC) is proud to announce the latest candidate endorsed by the TAAAC Representative Assembly.

Sarah’s endorsement marks the completion of the Board of Education slate for the 2024 general election. TAAAC members endorsed the Air Force Veteran becuase of her strong policy background and professional work with Labor Unions, following the completion of a second questionnaire by both candidates and follow up interviews.

We advocate for equitable, quality education for all students in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. TAAAC is a union of educators, representing all Unit 1 employees in the Anne Arundel County Public School System.
