The Teachers Association of Anne Arundel County (TAAAC) is proud to announce the latest candidate endorsed by the TAAAC Representative Assembly.

Following the unanimous vote to endorse the incumbent, TAAAC President Nicole Disney-Bates released the following statement:
“Board member Schallheim has shown a strong record supporting students, educators, and public education during her first term. Her dedication to AACPS and our staff was clear throughout the pandemic as she prioritized science and safety, and during the years of backsteps as she invested in educator salaries. TAAAC members support Schallheim because she has proven her allyship with advocacy for better working conditions, focused on prioritizing student success over partisanship, and protected against extremism in our curriculum and schools.
“Dana Schallheim, as the child of a union member and 4th grade educator, is the best candidate for District 5 on the Anne Arundel County Board of Education.”
