Since the start of my term, I’ve spoken to hundreds of educators about increased workload, the need for more planning time, and growing student behavior issues. Our union has worked collectively to continue addressing the systemic issues that have exacerbated our stress levels and pushed us to our limits. In my first 100 days as your TAAAC President, I am proud of the great strides we have made together. You can take a look here at some of the highlights.
Our work continues with bargaining starting this week and a host of other actions. Department Chairs recently notified us about their exclusion from the Sub-MOU. If you are not receiving compensation for extra work, please track your hours and call us at the TAAAC office: 410-224-3330.
