UniServ Director
Allison Yunda
My name is Allison Yunda, I was born in Ecuador and immigrated to Maryland when I was 7 years old. I grew up in Gaithersburg and have now settled in Prince George’s county. When I was a student at the University of Maryland, College Park I was a student organizer on campus. I was motivated by my passion for social justice, specifically around issues that concern the Latino community. After I graduated, I started working as a union organizer for SEIU 32BJ where I was part of the team that helped airport workers in the DC-Baltimore area raise standards in the workplace. Now, I am the new UniServ director for TAAAC and I am very excited to get to work with educators! When I am not at work, I like to spend time with my family and I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes!
