We have been made aware that AACPS is excluding certain Unit 1 employees from the annual stipend for Special Educators and Related Service Providers. The negotiated language agreed to at the bargaining table last year says: “Special educators and related service providers shall be paid an annual stipend of $2,000.”
It is our position that this language should be all inclusive. We are preparing to file a class action grievance on behalf of members to ensure you are paid.
