We have received official word that AACPS has agreed to impasse at the negotiations table. This is a good step and maintains our goal of settling the contract by the end of the school year! For a complete update, including our full list of proposals, please read the latest “At the Table.” We’ll be sharing additional updates and actions at the monthly Rep Assembly tomorrow.
Additionally, the TAAAC office has seen some changes in staff. Our Executive Director Kenneth Page has resigned his position. The Board of Directors accepted his resignation effective this past Friday, June 3. If you had any outstanding business with Mr. Page, please follow up with your UniServ Director or call the TAAAC office and the staff will connect you with the appropriate person.
We also have a new UniServ Director! We are excited to welcome Mike McGee, who will begin on July 1 and serve Keith’s schools. For the remainder of June, Josh Ardison will continue to work with those schools in Arundel, Broadneck, Crofton, Meade, and South River feeder systems.
