Now that the legislative session is over, how do we support pro-public education candidates we helped elect? How do we hold them accountable to our priorities? How do we enforce policies we lobbied for?

Each election season, we have educators come out to provide the public with teacher-recommended candidates.  The Apple Ballot is popular among members and the general public. A link will be available HERE for the general election in 2024.

Phone Banking/ Canvassing Opportunities

Speaking to voters is a valuable way to inform the community about pro-public education, TAAAC-endorsed candidates. During the election cycle, we put together teams to go door to door to distribute information.

REQUEST OR TRACK A MAIL-IN BALLOT

Any registered voter in Maryland may vote by mail-in ballot. You don't need a reason to vote by mail-in ballot. Getting your vote in well ahead of Election Day gives you peace of mind, and voting by mail is a great way to avoid a last-minute, in-person rush.

How do you plan to get to your polling place? If you’re driving, scope out the parking options ahead of time. And please consider offering a ride to a friend or neighbor.

We advocate for equitable, quality education for all students in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. TAAAC is a union of educators, representing all Unit 1 employees in the Anne Arundel County Public School System.
