Foundation Established in 1990
This Foundation was established by TAAAC in 1990 in order to provide scholarships to graduating Anne Arundel County Public School students who meet the established criteria. Student applications are available in the Guidance Department of each high school. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided several scholarships which will assist students as they pursue their undergraduate education.
CHILDREN’S FUND
This Fund provides grants of up to $100 to be used to provide needy Anne Arundel County Public School students with such things as warm clothing (hats, coats, mittens) or eyeglasses. These grants have had a tremendous response. The number of requests for clothing and glasses for students surprised even the creators of the Fund. The Fund solicits voluntary contributions from both Anne Arundel County Public School employees, community businesses and the general public. The request for a grant for a needy student must be made by a TAAAC member. All grants will be kept confidential.
