THE 2021 MILLS-KING EXCELLENCE IN HUMAN RELATIONS IN EDUCATION AWARD

Nominees for the Mills-King Award have demonstrated an exemplary ability to foster learning environments conducive to the understanding and valuing of all cultural groups, as well as promoting and providing more humane educational experiences for every child. The award recipient will be selected based solely upon the narrative and materials you submit.

Walter Mills and Douglas King devoted their lives to others. Mills, a TAAAC President, served in a case which led to the equalization of all teacher salaries in Maryland; and King fostered positive human relations as a principal at Bates High School.

Congratulations to all our 2021 Outstanding Nominees!
